Shares of China’s Yanzhou Coal Mining Co. trading in the U.S. helped pull an index of emerging markets ADRs down in Wednesday afternoon trading.

Mining and natural resource group Anglo American Plc. said Chris Griffith has been appointed chief executive officer of its Kumba Iron Ore unit effective July 1, replacing Ras Myburgh.
