Chinese nickel producer takes WA stake

China’s largest nickel producer, Jinchuan Group Ltd, has taken a 11 per cent equity stake in Perth-headquartered nickel explorer and producer Fox Resources Ltd.
The news sent Fox shares north, up 15 cents, or 30.93 per cent, to 63.5 cents at 1229 AEDT on Monday.

Australian miner Oxiana Ltd. said on Thursday it had received positive results from exploration drilling at two projects.
“Initial results received from near mine exploration drilling at Oxiana’s Prominent Hill Project in South Australia and Golden Grove operations in Western Australia have highlighted potential expansions to resources at both sites,” the company said in a statement.
