Gasco Energy Boosts Borrowing Base to $37 Million for Oil Exploration and Drilling

Oil and gas exploration and production company Gasco Energy Inc. said Thursday its bank group agreed to increase the company’s borrowing capacity to $37 million under its $250 million revolving line of credit.
The borrowing base previously was $25 million.
Under the agreement with the JP Morgan-led banking group, the borrowing base will be evaluated semiannually.

New mine planned in Webster County

A veteran of the Western Kentucky coal industry has announced plans to open a mine in Webster County in the coming years.
Ron Siler of Newburgh released a statement that his company, Henderson-based Pact Resources LLC, is seeking permits for an underground mine near Sebree that could someday employ 120 to 140 miners.

Foundation Coal Unit Refinances Facility

Coal producer Foundation Coal Holdings Inc. said Monday a subsidiary completed its refinancing of a senior secured credit facility.
The new $835 million facility has better pricing and flexibility than the $685 million facility it’s replacing, the company said. The new facility will mean about $4 million in annual pre-tax benefits, the company said.
