Norilsk Nickel now sees LSE listing early July

Norilsk Nickel is targeting a supplementary listing on the London Stock Exchange for the beginning of July, said the Russian metals giant’s chief executive, Denis Morozov.
“The listing will broaden the base for investors, give us more liquidity and, in time, a higher capitalization,” Interfax quoted Morozov as saying.

Number of Working Rigs Down

The number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the United States fell this week by 12 from last week.
Of the 1,877 rigs running nationwide, 1,479 explore for natural gas and 390 for oil, according to Baker Hughes Inc., which tracks rig operations worldwide. Eight were listed as miscellaneous.

Enbridge Reports on Minn. Explosion

Enbridge Energy said an explosion in November that killed two workers in northwestern Minnesota happened after oil mist escaped from a coupling and was ignited by a heater.

Gasoline Higher at the Pump

Retail gas prices rose one cent Friday to a new national average over $3.96 a gallon, putting them on a course to hit $4 by early next week. Oil futures settled higher after trading in a narrow range.
